Open linux partitions in windows and transfer files from them

Introduction:

    You have a dual boot on your PC or laptop , and you have hard times opening linux partitions like (ext4) in windows.
In this tutorial I'm gonna show you how to open linux partitions in windows.

Steps :

  • We will need a tool called "Diskinternals linux reader"
  • Once you downloaded "Diskinternals linux reader" , go to download folder and install the software
  • Then open it
  • The tool interface will show the partitions you have on your HDD like this
  • Look for the linux partition and open it

  • If you wanna save a file or folder do the following


1-Right click and choose save

2-Check "Save files" and click on "Next"

3-Determine the location you want to save to then "Next"

4-Here you can remove any of the selected files to recover

5-Now , you have recovered files/folders from a linux partition
